Hi, I’m Adi. I am a Product Designer.

I work at Microsoft on the Azure team. Previously, I led a design team at U.S.Bank to ship multiple business loan applications. I also designed and implemented applications and websites for NASA, Ameriprise and CoFigure.

My education in Human-Computer Interaction (from Carnegie Mellon) and Industrial Design (from California College of the Arts) helps me strategize and define the future of technology.

Designer 2 | 2022-Present

- Designed a portal that allows 30,000+ developers to automate solutions for deploying Azure resources in public and sovereign clouds.

U.S.Bank

Senior UX Architect + UX Lead | 2020-2022

- Led a six member product design team to ship a 60-screen loan application for over 50,000 small business users. Responsible for gathering requirements from stakeholders, creating end-to-end user flows and wireframes and assigning and tracking UX deliverables.
- Led a three member team to ship a 50-screen application for the paycheck protection program (PPP) that allowed 25,000+ small businesses to access more than $1B in pandemic relief funds.

NASA (CMU Capstone)

Product Design Lead | 2020

- Designed a digital interface that enables a crew of four astronauts to autonomously diagnose anomalies in space (Research to functional design that encourages best practices, critical thinking and documentation).
- Contextual inquiry at Johnson Space Center with 50 flight controllers. Synthesized research through affinity mapping, user flows, journey maps and stakeholder mapping.
- Evaluated needs and conducted usability testing for multiple storyboards and clickable prototypes. Crafted the visual design, components/patterns and interaction design of a diagnostic tool (keeping accessibility in mind).

Ameriprise

Product Designer | 2018-19

- Created wireframes, user flows, concept sketches, visual design and oversaw the development of internal dashboards for clients to view and edit financial goals.
- Worked in agile environments with teams of developers, product owners, content writers and quality assurance testers to create and maintain a robust public website (Ameriprise.com) and internal applications.
- Contributed to the design community by building reusable patterns and sharing knowledge through frequent peer reviews.

CoFigure + IntegRhythm

User Experience Designer | 2017-18

- Owned the end-to-end product design and shipped six human resource SaaS Enterprise applications by conducting user research and benchmarking features to create interactive prototypes. Worked closely with company owner to gather business needs and provide development support to a team of seven developers.
- Conceptualized and designed an internal corporate website (CoFigure. com), and worked with external vendors to get it developed.

Interests

I've been glassblowing for a few years now! Last year I created a glass pumpkin patch for halloween and made my friends ornaments for christmas!

Right now I am learning to sail a keelboat in lake Bde Maka Ska in Mn.

I love to travel and learn about new places and people.
